INDONESIA-AFGHAN-REFUGEE
Ziba Gul, 30 year-old Afghan refugee sewed her mouth, with her son Hassan during a hunger strike in Bogor refugee camp, west of Java 10 August 2004, to protest against United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The 18 refugees, including two women who fled from the war in Afghanistan 2001, sewed their mouthes to protest against the refusal of their requests to seek refugee in a third country by UNHCR with another refugees. About 160 refugees from Afghanistan and Iraq still wait for UN-s permission to seek refugees in a third country in Indonesia. AFP PHOTO/CHOO YOUN-KONG/cyk
