BRITAIN-CLONING-SCIENTSTS 2
This picture dated 16 June, 2004 and released by the University of Newcastle shows genetic experts Alison Murdock (R) and Miodrag Stojkovic, both embryologist and stem cell biologists in their lab at the Life Centre in Newcastle, England. Britain gave the go ahead 11 August, 2004 for human cloning, granting a licence to scientists bidding to become the first in Europe to create stem cells used in medical research from a cloned human embryo.
