AP - Italy Wildfires
In this photo released by the Italian Firefighters, a view of a fire near Mandas, in the south of Sardinia, Italy, in the early hours of Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, as wildfires continue plaguing the region. Sicily, Sardinia, Calabria and also central Italy, as temperatures reached a record hight in Floridia, Sicily, were badly hit by wildfires. Climate scientists say there is little doubt that climate change from the burning of coal, oil and natural gas is driving extreme events, such as heat waves, droughts, wildfires, floods and storms.
