IRAQ-FRANCE-HOSTAGE
A TV grab taken from a video tape broadcast by Al-Jazeera news channel shows 28 August 2004 a French hostage with Arabic writing in the background reading "The Islamic Army in Iraq". Two French journalists, Christian Chesnot of Radio France Internationale, and Georges Malbrunot, of Paris daily Le Figaro, have been taken hostage by the Islamic Army in Iraq, the same group which killed Italian journalist Enzo Baldoni, demanding the rescinding of a ban on the Islamic headscarf in French schools, according to the Arabic satellite news channel Al-Jazeera.
