SPAIN-MOROCCO-AFRICA-IMMIGRATION
A photo taken 22 August 2004 of young sub-Saharans at a shanty town near a center for immigrants in the Spanish enclave Melilla, situated on the northern coast of Morocco. Approximately 7,000 young Africans are living in camps, in adverse conditions, rummaging through trash for their food, hoping to illegally enter Spain, risking the hazards of crossing the Strait of Gibaltrar in frail boats.
