TRANSPORT-AERIEN-KLM-AIR FRANCE

The Air France-KLM airline posted 02 September 2004 consolidated first-quarter results in line with analysts forecasts, confirming its target of a rise in operating income before aircraft disposals for the full year to end March 2005. Operating income before aircraft disposals in the quarter ending June 30 was 156 million euros (190 million dollars), compared to a pro forma loss of one million in the same period a year earlier.
