The prolonged lack of rain and high temperatures are forcing several autonomous communities and municipalities throughout Spain to impose restrictions on water consumption, especially in Galicia, Catalonia and Andalusia, while reservoirs are at 40.4% of their capacity. One of the autonomous communities most affected by the drought is Galicia, which has led Galician municipalities to prepare for a worsening and an eventual state of alert that would imply the night cut of the water supply.
