Prime minister-designate Nikolay Denkov talks to journalists as he received a mandate to form a new government at a ceremony in the Bulgarian Presidency, Sofia, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. The second-largest political party in parliament has to form a government to prevent the country from sliding to the fifth general elections in two years.
