In this satellite photo taken by Planet Labs PBC, a coastal launch pad is seen at the Sohae Satellite Launching Station in North Korea on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023. A rail-mounted structure at the site, which covers its launch area, had been pulled back to expose the pad beneath, typically which happens ahead of a launch.
