Poland's Law and Justice convicted MP's attempt to enter the Parliament
WARSAW, POLAND - FEBRUARY 07: Conservative right-wing former Minister of Interior and Administration of Poland, Mariusz Kaminski who is released from prison after a second presidential pardon attempts to enter the Parliament chamber surrounded by conservative MPs of the Law and Justice Party on February 07, 2024 in Warsaw, Poland. Since the Pro-EU coalition government led by Donald Tusk took power, reforms in the public media and justice system as created a political crisis with the former government. Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda for a second time, pardoned the Conservative right-wing former Minister of Interior and Administration of Poland, Mariusz Kaminski, and his deputy, Maciej Wasik who were arrested on January 09, amid a bitter standoff between the new centrist government and the previous conservative administration.
