Transfer of the Virgin of the Forsaken in Valencia
Dozens of people during the transfer of the pilgrim image of the Mare de Déu dels Desamparats, on May 12, 2024, in Valencia, Valencian Community (Spain). On the occasion of the feast of the Virgen de los Desamparados, patron saint of Valencia and the Valencian Community, the transfer of the pilgrim image of the Mare de Déu was celebrated from the Basilica to the Cathedral. After the procession and as the end of the celebrations, Pirotecnia Aitana will perform a mascletá with a tribute to the mantle of the Virgin of the Forsaken, highlighting its blue color.
