A power generating wind turbine for a remote coastal area community is set to make a stunning modernist mark on an ancient location — and be a home for worship and music events.
The cliffside project in Montenegro, at sea level, which will include a chapel and music club, is designed to make the most of the region’s powerful Bora wind.
It will have a floating pier for access from the sea.
The project site is a disused, partly constructed tunnel with a retaining cliff wall.
It is located between the towns of Kotor and Budva and also set to play host to summer music festivals and raves popular in the area with a chapel.
It has been designed by UK based company Margot Krasojevic Architects to deliver renewable energy.
