UEFA EURO 2024 - Poland vs Netherlands - police check fan train
16 June 2024, Brandenburg, Frankfurt (Oder): In the early morning, officers from the Federal Police check a special train from Warsaw at Frankfurt (Oder) station, which is on its way to Hamburg for the UEFA EURO 2024 group D soccer match between Poland and the Netherlands with around 600 Polish soccer fans. The aim of the checks ordered by the Federal Ministry of the Interior is to stop potential violent soccer fans and politically motivated extremists from entering the country. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa
