Japan-s electronics giant Sony unveils the new 70-inch real-projection TV "Grand WEGA" which carries video image of Sony Pictures- recent movie Spiderman2 at a press preview in Tokyo 16 September 2004. Sony-s purchase of MGM movie studios will give the company greater clout in Hollywood and help it gain the upper hand in competition over setting the standard of next-generation DVDs.
