September 24, 2024: Fans of Bugatti’s supercars can now get their very own vintage ‘baby’ version of the Tourbillon...Handcrafted by artisans at Hedley Studios in their Oxfordshire workshop, the Bugatti Baby II Tourbillon Edition is a nod to both Bugatti’s illustrious heritage and its exciting future. ..Over 200 hours of craftsmanship have gone into Bugatti's new pint-sized creation, which reinterprets the legendary Bugatti Type 35 for the modern age. ..Each Bugatti Baby II harks back to the original Type 35, employing traditional techniques passed down through generations...The car’s aluminium body panels are carefully hand-beaten over wooden bucks using methods reminiscent of those used for the original Grand Prix de Lyon models...Though modernised with an electric drive system, the Baby II retains many of its historical cues. The traditional fuel pressure gauge has been reimagined as a battery gauge, while the oil gauge has made way for a power gauge – a subtle nod to the era of the Bugatti Veyron...Drawing inspiration from the original Type 35, the Baby II’s turned aluminium dashboard, with its intricate, overlapping patterns, ensures no glare interrupts the driving experience. ..Meanwhile, adjustable pedals, machined from solid aluminium billet and bearing the iconic ‘EB’ logo, blend modern performance with Bugatti’s storied attention to detail...Beyond being a tribute to Bugatti’s legacy, the Tourbillon Edition embodies the creative vision of Bugatti’s latest supercar, the Tourbillon, which was unveiled in France this June. ..Wiebke StÃ¥hl, Managing Director at Bugatti, said: “Collaborating closely with our team in Molsheim, the vision behind Hedley Studios’ creation of the Bugatti Baby II Tourbillon Edition was not merely to produce a tribute but to honour Bugatti’s relentless pursuit of perfection in the form of our latest hyper sports ca (Credit Image: ©
