CORDOBA, ARGENTINA - SEPTEMBER 25: Several animals died and others were injured during the ongoing fires that have devastated much of the vegetation and destroyed homes, in Capilla del Monte in the province of Cordoba in Argentina on September 25, 2024. In less than a week, over 40,000 hectares of forest and fields have burned in Cordoba, primarily affecting the mountainous areas of Capilla del Monte and Villa Berna. Although the national government has declared a 'disaster zone,' the president's visit to survey the damage left firefighters disappointed, as they were hoping for urgent support.
