Israel Launches Airstrikes On Tyre - Lebanon
This photo shows the smoke caused by Israeli airstrikes in Tyre, Lebanon, on October 28, 2024. Israel carried out deadly strikes on the southern Lebanon city of Tyre after issuing an immediate evacuation order for parts of the city. Tens of thousands of people have fled the city, once considered a refuge, since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. Amnesty International has criticised Israel’s evacuation warnings, saying they are inadequate and that they raise questions as to whether they are meant to provoke mass displacement.
