(FILES) US cyclist Tyler Hamilton is pictured 13 July 2004 during the stage Saint-Leonard-de-Noblat at the Tour de France. Hamilton faces a ban for doping after failing a blood test in the Tour of Spain last week, it was announced 21 September 2004. Hamilton, who won the Olympic time trial gold medal in Athens last month, was found guilty of blood doping in the first case of its kind after winning the Vuelta-s eighth stage time-trial.
