LEBANON-SYRIA-TROOPS
Syrian soldiers redeploying, drive pass the entrance of the town of Chtaura in the Bekaa Valley near the Syrian border 21 September 2004. Syria began a long-awaited redeployment of its troops in Lebanon this morning in the face of heavy international pressure for Damascus to end its political and military domination of its tiny neighbour.
