US-AIR-AIRBUS-CRASH-NTSB
A cameraman films a screen showing diagrams of the vertical stabilizer and rudder of American Airlines flight 587, which crashed in New York in November 2001, during the US government investigators- report to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in Washington 26 October 2004. The report blamed pilot error for the crash of the Airbus A300-600 heading to the Dominican Republic shortly after takeoff from New York-s JFK airport 12 November 2001 in which all 260 passengers and crew were killed as well as five people on the ground. A top official also said that pilot training should be changed to cope with difficulties with the jet. AFP PHOTO/Nicholas KAMM
