BOTSWANA-VOTE-RALLY
Supporters of Festus Mogae, leader of Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), the party in power, rally, 29 October 2004 in Gaborane, a day ahead of voting that is expected to see the party in power since independence in 1966 win victory and set in motion a leadership change. At a rally attended by some 5,000 ruling party faithful in central Gaborone, Mogae fired up voters in a final push ahead of 30 October-s polls.
