Moroccan use their mobile phones in a Rabat street 22 November 2004. Head of Maroc Telecom Abdeslam Ahizoune announced monday the floating of Maroc Telecom on Casablanca and Paris stock exchange. French group Vivendi Universal, the world-s largest media conglomerate, announced 18 November it had acquired a majority stake in the profitable Moroccan operator Maroc Telecom, confirming its strategy of focussing on telecommunications.
