US-GUINNESS WORLD RECORD-DISNEY WORLD
As Disney characters L-R: Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofey look on in the shadow of the famed Disney Castle(background), a 14-foot-tall replica of Cinderella Castle, made entirely of 162,000 Disney theme park tickets, took center stage 02 December, 2004 as Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida announced a new customized ticket plan called "Magic Your Way." The month-long card construction project of master builder Brian Berg was deemed a "World Record" by Guinness World Records head of US research Stuart E.F. Claxton. During the ceremony, the card castle came crumbling down to represent falling theme park ticket prices, which will be as low as $29 USD a day for a seven-day Disney World stay. Starting 02 January, 2005, "Magic Your Way" tickets and vacations will allow guests to customize their Disney visits by creating their own tickets and packages. AFP PHOTO/HO/WDW
