Dena D-Angelo dusts off 24 foot (8 meter) tall Oscar statues at a warehouse in Saugus, California, 09 December 2004, as preparations get underway for the 77th Academy Awards. The Oscar statues, ranging in size from 7.5 feet to 24 feet (2.5 meters to 8 meters) are being cleaned and repainted before the show, which will take place 27 February 2005 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
