MACEDONIA-PRIME MINISTER-VLADO BUCKOVSKI
Newly elected Macedonian prime minister Vlado Buckovski signs his name in the Macedonian Parliament 17 December 2004. Buckovski, who recently came to the leading position in the ruling Social Democrat Union of Macedonia replaced the short lived government of Hari Kostov, who resigned last month citing corruption within the Albanian minority coalition partner DUI as a main reason. Immediately after the swearing in ceremony, Buckovski met Soren Jessen Petersen, chief of the UN mission in the neighbouring province of Kosovo. AFP PHOTO/ROBERT ATANASOVSKI
