BOSNIA-GOVERNMENT-RESIGNATION-CAVIC
President of Bosnian Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Cavic (C) addresses journalists during a press conference in Banja Luka, 20 December, 2004, following an assembly of all Bosnian Serb parties where the latest resignations were reviewed. Mladen Ivanic (L), minister of foreign affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Dragan Mikerevic, Prime minister of the Bosnian Serb entity (far R), handed in their resignations following new sanctions imposed on Bosnian Serbs, by the EU High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Paddy Ashdown. Sanctions were imposed on Bosnian Serbs after continous failure to comply with the demands made by International Warcrime Tribunal in Hague to surrender ex-Bosnian Serb leaders who are wanted by this court under suspicion of war crimes commited during Bosnia-s 1992-95 war.
