This 2002 TV grab shows Carlos Silvino da Silva, known as "Bibi", a former employee of the Casa Pia, Portugal-s largest state-supported home for troubled boys, and the main person involved in a pedophilia scandal, during an exclusive interview with the Portuguese private television channel SIC in Lisbon. The chief accused in a high-profile trial of seven people charged in Portugal with the sexual abuse of minors from a state-run institution told a trial 21 December 2004 he for years delivered minors under his care to child molestors in exchange for money. Carlos Silvino, 48, a former driver at Casa Pia, a network of 10 homes and schools which looks after some 4,000 children, said the boys were delivered to several of the other accused in the case to various locations in and around Lisbon.
