FILES - A file picture taken on 14 July 2003 shows Werder Bremen-s Turkish defender Umit Davala during a team-s presentation at the Weserstadion stadium. Davala could face upto eight years in prison after three journalists accused him of grievous bodily harm and threatening behaviour. State prosecuters in the Turkish city of Izmir started proceedings against Davala and two accomplices for the incident which happened in a restaurant back on 05 October 2002.
