Canadian Prime Minister comments on his Liberals surviving a confidence vote in The House of Commons in Ottawa 19 May 2005. Martin-s minority Liberal government narrowly won the high stakes confidence vote, by one vote, following weeks of political drama that had pitted the Liberals, accused of corruption, against opposition lawmakers eager for a chance to govern.
