MEXICO-HURRICANE WILMA
A fell down wall is seen in front of a store downtown Cancun, due to the strong winds of hurricane Wilma 21 October 2005. Hurricane Wilma turned the popular resort city of Cancun into a ghost town, as thousands of tourists who did not evacuate were whisked from luxurious, air-conditioned seaside hotels to hot, crowded emergency shelters. The slow-moving monster system, a category four on the five-level Saffir-Simpson intensity scale, was due to hit the Yucatan peninsula within hours. AFP PHOTO/Alfredo ESTRELLA
