TAIWAN-MARATHON
Kenyan runner Luke Kibet takes home a prize money of 1.33 million Taiwan dollars (40,060 US) after winning the men-s group title in ING Taipei International Marathon 18 December 2005. A total of 16,000 runners participated in three competitions -- 10 kilometers, 21 kilometers and 42 kilometers -- another 84,000 joined a three-kilometer event, the organizers said.
