TAIWAN-MARATHON
Kenyan runner Jane Ekimat Auro takes home a prize money of one million Taiwan dollars (31,056 US) after winning the women-s group title in ING Taipei International Marathon 18 December 2005. A total of 16,000 runners participated in three competitions -- 10 kilometers, 21 kilometers and 42 kilometers -- another 84,000 joined a three-kilometer event, the organizers said.
