Brazilian-born US marine Lance Corporal Daniel Moreira de Carvalho (background), 24, from Springfield, Virginia, takes his position among Iraq youths during a foot patrol in Fallujah, 50km west of Baghdad, 20 December 2005. Carvalho, who originally comes from Duque de Caxias suburb, from Rio de Janeiro city, among two others Brazilian-born, has been deploying in Iraq for their first time since September 2005, attached with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines Regiment.
