IRAQ-US-BRAZIL-MARINES-BARBOSA-DEATH
(FILES) Picture taken 20 December 2005 shows Brazilian-born US marine Corporal Felipe Carvalho Barbosa (2nd R), 21, from High Point, North Carolina, during a foot patrol in Fallujah, 50km west of Baghdad, Iraq.. Brazilian newspaper "O Dia" has published 29 January 2006 that, according to his uncle, Barbosa was killed in a truck accident when his platoon was returning to the base after a mission in the restive city of Fallujah. Barbosa, who was born in Bento Ribeiro suburb, in Rio de Janeiro, was deployed to Iraq for the first time last September attached with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines Regiment.
