IRAQ-US-BRAZIL-MARINES-BARBOSA-DEATH

Brazilian newspaper "O Dia" has published 29 January 2006 that, according to his uncle, Barbosa was killed in a truck accident when his platoon was returning to the base after a mission in the restive city of Fallujah. Barbosa, who was born in Bento Ribeiro suburb, in Rio de Janeiro, was deployed to Iraq for the first time last September attached with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines Regiment.
