COSTA RICA-ELECTIONS-VOTERS
A woman casts her ballot 05 February, 2006, in a school in west San JosA©, Costa Rica, during general elections. Oscar Arias of the National Liberation Party (PLN), a centrist who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1987 and was president from 1986 to 1990, strongly leads over his centre-left rival Otton Solis of the Citizens Action Party (PAC) and could win the presidency in the first round. Surveys have given Arias between 41 and 49 percent of public support, while Solis gets only 21-31 percent. AFP PHOTO/Yuri CORTEZ
