Silvertooth Judicial Center 15 March, 2006, in Sarasota, Florida. Circuit Court Judge Andrew Owens upheld the jury-s recommendation of death for Smith, who was convicted of the abduction, rape, and murder of 11-year-old Brucia in February of 2004.
