US-SPACE SHUTTLE ATLANTIS-CREW
Pilot Chris Ferguson(L) and Commander Brent Jett(R) of the Space Shuttle Atlantis lead their crew as they leave the Operations and Checkout building 08 September 2006, on their way to launch pad 39-B at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The shuttle Atlantis was fueled and ready for blastoff at 11:41am (1540 GMT), despite a faulty fuel cell, but a faulty fuel gauge could keep it grounded another day, NASA said. The delay-plagued mission of the Atlantis to the orbiting International Space Station got its green light Thursday afternoon, when a meeting of NASA managers decided that a faulty fuel cell would pose no danger in flight.
