Members of the Guardia Civil stand guard by a boat carrying over 200 illegal Pakistani and Sri Lankan immigrants at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the Spanish Canary island of Tenerife, 15 September 2006. The boat sighted off the coast Thursday "does not have authorization to navigate in the Canary waters and is not flying a flag," an official added. Spanish First Deputy Prime Minister Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega said arrangements were already underway with the Pakistani and Sri Lankan authorities to send them home.
