Members of the Spanish police search an illegal immigrant after disembarking at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the Spanish Canary island of Tenerife, 15 September 2006. Over 200 Pakistani and Sri Lankan illegal immigrants arrived today at Santa Cruz after their boat was sighted off the coast Thursday. Spanish First Deputy Prime Minister Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega said arrangements were already underway with the Pakistani and Sri Lankan authorities to send them home.
