BRITAIN-HEALTH-POVERTY-POLITICS
British Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown (C) is joined by the Archbishop of Cantebury, Dr. Rowan Williams, (L) Queen Rania of Jordan (2nd L) and Cardinal Renato Martino (R) of the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace at the Stationers Hall, in central London, 07 November 2006. The Chancellor was joined by Jordan's Queen Rania and other leaders of all Britain's major faith groups at a press conference to highlight the sale of inaugral bonds by the International Finance Facility for Immunisation (IFFIm). The IFFIm is an international development institution set up to accelerate the availability of funds to be used for health and immunisation programmes in 70 of the world's poorest countries.
