MEXICO-OAXACA-UNREST
A student of the Autonamous University of Oaxaca and member of the Oaxaca People's Popular Assembly (APPO) holds a sign about national hero Juarez which reads: "Juarez, present in the fight of the Mexican-Oaxaca people" during a protest march against Oaxaca's governor Ulise Ruiz, in Oaxaca 08 November, 2006. After five months of violent protests, the turbulence which started with a teachers' strike demanding higher wages, shows no sign of letting up.
