Around 100 Czech sugar beet growers protest outside the German (out of camera range) and British (R) embassies, 22 November 2006 in Prague against plans by Anglo-German owned sugar refining giant, Eastern Sugar to close its Central European plants. The Czech sugar beet growers say Eastern Sugar's closure plans will at one sweep cut 22.5 percent of the Czech Republic's EU-set sugar production quota.
