ITALY-JUSTICE-SCALZONE
Picture taken 30 August 2004 in Paris of the former leader of the extreme left, Oreste Scalzone. He has been living for years in Paris and can come back to Italy. The judges at the first Court of Assizes in Milan have dismissed the case against him due to the statute of limitations in relation to the crime of involvement in subversive activities, belonging to an armed group and robbery, for which he was sentenced in Milan in 1981 to 16 years in prison in the trial known as 'Prima Linea-Cocori' (Committee of revolutionary Communists).
