SERBIA-KOSOVO-VOTE
A Kosovo Serbian voter leaves a polling station 21 January 2007 in the Serb enclave of Gracanica, after voting for the general elections, pitting pro-western and ultra-nationalist forces against each other as the fate of its breakaway province of Kosovo looms. Taking advantage of unseasonably warm winter weather, voters began trickling in to some of the more than 8,500 polling stations across the Balkan nation, including Serbs in ethnic-Albanian dominated Kosovo.
