SENEGAL-VOTE
Officials count votes after presidential elections 25 February 2007 in a counting centre, in Dakar. People in Senegal voted in an election where President Abdoulaye Wade, 80, hopes to win five more years in power but faces a record 14 challengers in one of Africa's most stable democracies. Wade, who was first elected in March 2000, is confident he will garner the decisive 50 percent of the ballots needed to avoid a run-off round of voting. AFP PHOTO str
