FILES - Picture taken 27 July 1997 shows German Jan Ullrich raising the Tour de France trophy on the Champs-Elysees in Paris after the last stage. 33-year-old Jan Ullrich, Germany's only winner of the world's most prestigious bike race the Tour de France in 1997, announced his retirement from cycling 26 February 2007 in Hamburg.
