COSTA RICA-VATICAN-BOFF
Brazilian Franciscan father Leonardo Boff, one of the greatest exponents of the Liberation Theology speaks during an interview to an university newspaper 14 March, 2007 in San Pedro, east from San Jose. Boff said that the warning issued to Spanish Jesuit Jon Sobrino will stir the debate around the liberation theory, still pretty alive in the world. Sobrino's books, widely distributed in the heavily Catholic region, contain passages that are "either erroneous or dangerous and may cause harm to the faithful," the Vatican said, issuing a warning "notification" but stopping short of condemning him.
