GULF-USS NIMITZ-IRAQ
A picture released by the US military 14 May 2007 shows Airman Adrian Lopez reporting the status of the foul line clear for the next aircraft to be launched aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz 11 May. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are deployed in the US 5th Fleet conducting Maritime Security Operations and supporting troops participation in Operation Enduring Freedom.
