GULF-US-IRAN-IRAQ-MILITARY
A picture released by the US Navy 21 May 2007 shows an F/A-18F Super Hornet, from the "Black Knights" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154, landing on the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in the Gulf. The USS John C. Stennis and USS Nimitz aircraft carriers and their strike groups entered Gulf waters 23 May 2007 to support troops in Iraq and conduct training exercises, the US Navy said.
